Email Marketing Tips

I've done plenty of reading recently about email marketing, I have plenty to learn but I do know it's a powerful tool! Firstly use MailChimp, they allow you to send to 2,000 people for free and have a really easy to use drag and drop HTML email builder!

There are a three very basic things that I have learned about email marketing that I would like to share:

1. Insure the emails you send are interesting otherwise no one will read them!

2. Use the words 'you' and 'your' in the email title it has been shown to increase open rates.

3. Remove the words FREE, Sample, Product, Trial, and random punctuation &*?! from email titles these are prone to be blocked by spam filters.
